Cobra Kai Review:

I was quite skeptical when Netflix announced the launch of the Cobra Kai TV series, which is the sequel to Karate Kid (1984), but watching the first few episodes I can assure you that it is one of the best TV series you have ever watched. Cobra Kai has action, comic elements, drama and you will watch many references to Karate Kid as the series unfolds. Ralph Macchio (Daniel LaRusso) and William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) became famous in 1984 with the movie Karate Kid and today after 34 years the success of the Cobra Kai puts them back in the top, how ironic is life? Due to its great success so far it has already been announced that in 2021 we will have the third season available for watching on Netflix, so do not waste time if you have not watched the first two seasons you should start From today.

Directing and Acting:

The direction could not be better here, the director really studied the movie karate kid perfectly and developed it exactly as a sequel to the movie. As for the acting is quite good although I wanted Martin Cove (John Creese) to be his tough role as it was old and not so soft but these are the choices of the director.

What I whould like to watch in this TV-Series:

I would really like the cobra kai team and those who are part of it to be first in everything in this series and not to leave any margin for victory in the team of Larusso as it almost happens in some episodes... do not forget that the series is called Cobra Kai and it would make me sad to watch team Larussο win a tournament.

Thirty years after their final confrontation at the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, Johnny Lawrence is at rock-bottom as an unemployed handyman haunted by his wasted life. However, when Johnny rescues a bullied kid, Miguel, from bullies, he is inspired to restart the notorious Cobra Kai dojo. However, this revitalization of his life and related misunderstandings find Johnny restarting his old rivalry with Daniel LaRousso, a successful businessman who may be happily married, but is missing an essential balance in life since the death of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi. Meanwhile, even as this antipathy festers, it finds itself reflected in their protegees as Miguel and his comrades are gradually poisoned by Cobra Kai's thuggish philosophy. Meanwhile, while Daniel's daughter, Samantha, finds herself in the middle of this conflict amidst false friends, Johnny's estranged miscreant son, Robby, finds himself inadvertently coming under Daniel's wing and flourishes in ways worthy of Mr. Miyagi. Xolo Mariduena (Miguel Diaz) bio:

Xolo Maridueña was born in Los Angeles, California on June 9, 2001, Maridueña was barely three days old when he got his first taste of behind-the-scenes action in a radio station studio. Xolo has grown up watching artists perform firsthand, which sparked his intense interest in becoming a performer in his own right.

Fulfilling that passion, he started acting professionally in 2011. His natural talent helped him quickly secure an agent, and he landed dozens of roles within his first year. Those included several television commercials, a recurring role on "Parenthood" which has become a series regular role this season, and a principal role in an upcoming major motion picture.

Maridueña's unique look is a gift of his multicultural background (he is of Mexican, Cuban and Ecuadorian heritage), and his unique name means "Dog Star" in the indigenous Nahuatl language.

In addition to acting, Xolo enjoys Shotokan karate, dancing and singing.

He lives with his parents and sister Oshún in Los Angeles, California.
